There's a rather large international community of sociologists, linguists, communications scholars and psychologists studying blogging. You can find a lot of them at the Association of Internet Researchers: http://www.aoir.org--try searching the list-serv archives.
The organization I work for http://www.pewinternet.org also studies bloggers (among other things), though we are US-focused. --Amanda |
