I've now permanently moved my blog over to http://chocolateandvodka.com/ and will no long be updating this version, other than with the occasional summary of new posts. Please do not leave comments here, but instead find the equivalent post on my new site, and comment there instead. Comments left here will not be published, as I'd like to keep things all together on the new installation. Sorry if this is an inconvenience.

Suw, You really want to try BlogMatrix Jäger (http://jaeger.blogmatrix.com). It's doing almost exactly what you want, as a seperate app that sits to the side of your browser. It works quite well with Firefox -- my preferred browser -- though there's two little tweaks you have to make: (1) tell Jäger to use the default browser rather than IE; (2) make sure that FF .9 is not opening everything in a new window when called from an external window (details here: http://jaeger.blogmatrix.com/weblog).
