I've now permanently moved my blog over to http://chocolateandvodka.com/ and will no long be updating this version, other than with the occasional summary of new posts. Please do not leave comments here, but instead find the equivalent post on my new site, and comment there instead. Comments left here will not be published, as I'd like to keep things all together on the new installation. Sorry if this is an inconvenience.
Re: Something for Nothing: The Free Culture AudioBook Project

Not only were there all these great remixes of Professor Lessig's book, but it was a great way for libraries to be able to offer multiple formats of it even before they received the print copies. For example, I work at the Suburban Library System, and we immediately added links to the ebook and audio versions before any of our libraries had a hard copy. Since we don't have to worry about due dates on the electronic versions, we were able to offer the multiple formats without hesitation! http://swan.sls.lib.il.us/ (our catalog) http://www.sls.lib.il.us/ Jenny Levine The Shifted Librarian http://theshiftedlibrarian.com/
