I've now permanently moved my blog over to http://chocolateandvodka.com/ and will no long be updating this version, other than with the occasional summary of new posts. Please do not leave comments here, but instead find the equivalent post on my new site, and comment there instead. Comments left here will not be published, as I'd like to keep things all together on the new installation. Sorry if this is an inconvenience.

you're telling me? You wouldn't believe the trouble an ex-employer had when someone at A Certain Domain Name Agency (Wild Horses &c) forgot to process the renewal (applied for a month ahead of time) for a rather large client in the cosmetics business, and some thieving little git in Taiwan snarfed it up. Not to mention the cybersquatters sitting on http://www.banddb.com , a site I wrote for gamesdomain which expired Five Years ago...
