I've now permanently moved my blog over to http://chocolateandvodka.com/ and will no long be updating this version, other than with the occasional summary of new posts. Please do not leave comments here, but instead find the equivalent post on my new site, and comment there instead. Comments left here will not be published, as I'd like to keep things all together on the new installation. Sorry if this is an inconvenience.

The commute thing is a bit of a killer, yeah. I once commuted into London from Reading for 9 months and it fair near killed me. Of course, I don't have to commute but Kevin does. I think our plan is to find somewhere where we really want to live, and then rejig our careers to allow us to live there. I think both of us are capable of working non-geographically, it's just a case of firstly figuring out where we wanted to be, then figuring out how to get there. But I will admit, I wouldn't mind getting out of this country for a bit. Just for a change of scenery.
