I've now permanently moved my blog over to http://chocolateandvodka.com/ and will no long be updating this version, other than with the occasional summary of new posts. Please do not leave comments here, but instead find the equivalent post on my new site, and comment there instead. My first reaction would be: you definitely need to move out of the heart of a big city. I'm not sure the country would change much (though it probably has an impact on pricing). Thought about Switzerland? I'm sure you'd pick up more French real fast ;-)
