I've now permanently moved my blog over to http://chocolateandvodka.com/ and will no long be updating this version, other than with the occasional summary of new posts. Please do not leave comments here, but instead find the equivalent post on my new site, and comment there instead. Mine ibook G4 died recently as well, but it was more of the logic board says the Apple tech at my local University. I have been told $600 so I definately can relate. I am hoping I can reset the PMU and it might help mine but I doubt it. I am figuring I'll end up with a used machine similar model off ebay use the old battery, softcase and perhaps the RAM and wifi card to boost another machine.
