I've now permanently moved my blog over to http://chocolateandvodka.com/ and will no long be updating this version, other than with the occasional summary of new posts. Please do not leave comments here, but instead find the equivalent post on my new site, and comment there instead. In addition to Osteria el Doge, just down the street from you, there is another Italian place up on like 46th or 48th. I've never committed it to memory. Just rely on the Zen navigation skills to point my feet in the right direction. I'm sure you found something good. Although Times Square ain't my favourite place to eat in town.
