I've now permanently moved my blog over to http://chocolateandvodka.com/ and will no long be updating this version, other than with the occasional summary of new posts. Please do not leave comments here, but instead find the equivalent post on my new site, and comment there instead. Comments left here will not be published, as I'd like to keep things all together on the new installation. Sorry if this is an inconvenience.

Suw, you have been living as a nomad in a sedentary world. As you settle and once again put down more permanent roots, you are proving what history has taught from Genghis Khan to the Vikings to the Arabs ... In a conflict beteen a. Nomadic culture and a sedentary one, the nomads will likely win. But then they cannot "maintain" Their victory, without becoming more sedentary themselves. Enjoy living in London, and don't despair the freedom and flexibility you give up for the benefits of deeper set roots.
